Anti-social behaviour
Repeated harassment, vandalism or intimidation that is not an emergency.
Who deals with it
It goes to your district, borough or unitary council. Area Watch works out which one from where you are, so you do not have to.
What to photograph
Only take photos if it is safe and does not provoke anyone; your safety comes first. Describe what happens, when, and how often. If anyone is in danger now, call 999.
What the report includes
- The place, from your phone or the map, with the nearest address and postcode.
- Up to five photos, with location and camera data removed.
- What you say or type about it.
- Your full name, if you want to add it. The council may need to contact you; you can stay anonymous.
- Your phone number, if you want to add it. The council may need to contact you; you can stay anonymous.
What happens next
Area Watch files it with them and you get a notification when it has been filed, with their reference number when they give one. Everything they tell us appears under My cases in the app, and you can mark it closed once it is fixed.
The Android app is in testing. It will be on Google Play first; an iPhone version follows.
