No water or low pressure
Little or no water from the taps at your home.
Who deals with it
It goes to the water company for the area. Area Watch works out which one from where you are, so you do not have to.
What to photograph
No photo needed unless there is visible water outside. Check whether neighbours are affected too, and whether your stop tap is open, then report.
What the report includes
- The place, from your phone or the map, with the nearest address and postcode.
- Up to five photos, with location and camera data removed.
- What you say or type about it.
- Your full name. The water company needs to know whose supply is affected.
- Your home address. Supply problems are checked at the property.
- Your phone number. The water company calls with updates and to arrange a visit.
- Your water customer number, if you want to add it. Helps the water company find your account.
What happens next
Area Watch files it with them and you get a notification when it has been filed, with their reference number when they give one. Everything they tell us appears under My cases in the app, and you can mark it closed once it is fixed.
The Android app is in testing. It will be on Google Play first; an iPhone version follows.
